Lacuna Inc. refers to the name of a fictional clinic in the movie
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind  (2004) that specialises in surgical memory erasure. The word lacuna itself is defined as “an unfilled space or a gap”. The clinic practices particularly in erasing traumatic or scarring memories of people and relationships—even
to the extent of erasing an entire person out of the mind.
