Linton’s Diggings
Academic Assignment, Branding,Printed Matter, Typography
2019
The brief was to propose a redesign and possible restructure of the annual literary arts festival for the town of Linton in Victoria, Australia (currently named Linton on Literary Arts or LOLA) whilst considering every factor such as budget and logistical capabilities. The concept revolved around reviving Linton in it’s heyday—when it was most bustling and prosperous as a gold-mining town.
Back in 1859, people from all around the world gathered in present-day Linton (Victoria, Australia) to harvest gold. They would establish communities, forming relationships and exchanging resources. The gold fields that brought all these people together were called “Linton’s Diggings”.
